Privacy Policy

Overview

Fig'd ("we", "our", or "the app") is an iOS application developed by Retro Panic that transforms user photos into AI-generated action figure images. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data We Collect

Photos

When you use Fig'd, you provide photos from your camera or photo library. These photos are sent to our AI image generation service (OpenAI) solely for the purpose of creating your action figure image. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers after generation is complete.

Purchase History

If you purchase credits, your purchase is processed by Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase history. We do not have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).

Device Storage

We store your credit balance and daily generation count locally on your device using the iOS Keychain. This data never leaves your device.

Product Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how Fig'd is used and where creation or purchase flows fail. We send events about app opens, onboarding, style selection, photo source (camera or library), generation outcomes, result viewing, sharing taps, and credit purchases. These events use random installation and session identifiers and fixed style and product identifiers.

We do not send names, email addresses, photos, prompts, generated images or their URLs, payment details, or purchase receipts to PostHog. We do not record screens or use these events for advertising or tracking across other apps and websites.

Third-Party Services

• fal.ai / OpenAI — AI image generation. Photos are sent to fal.ai (which uses OpenAI) for processing. Please review fal.ai's privacy policy.
• RevenueCat — Credit purchase management. Please review RevenueCat's privacy policy.
• PostHog — Product usage analytics as described above. Please review PostHog's privacy policy.

What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not send your name, email, photos, or payment details to PostHog
• We do not track you across other apps or websites
• We do not serve ads or share data with advertisers
• We do not store your photos after image generation
• We do not create user accounts

Data Retention

Photos are processed in real-time by our AI provider and are not retained after generation completes. Generated images exist only on your device. Credit balances and generation counts are stored locally on your device and are removed if you delete the app.

Children's Privacy

Fig'd is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
